Relating to career and technical education; declaring an emergency.

Abstract

Directs Department of Education to conduct study to identify sources of stable and sustainable funding for career and technical education programs.] Directs department to submit report to interim committee of Legislative Assembly no later than September 15, 2020.] Sunsets December 31, 2020.] Directs Department of Education to award grants to enable school districts to provide courses in computer science as part of career and technical education program. Prescribes requirements for grants. Declares emergency, effective on passage] July 1, 2019.
